Out of Order

Yep, I'm posting out of order. Before we left for MINIs in the Mountains at Copper Mountain, I attended two days of classes at Art Unraveled. I was too tired to attend my Monday evening class so I accosted someone in the hallway and forced my class ticket on her. She offered to buy me a drink and in the ensuing conversation, we discovered that we know each other online! Is it a small world or what? We're in a couple of the same Yahoo Groups and have not only read each other's blogs but have emailed! We met up for drinks again the next evening to compare notes on classes.

Shari, Belinda, Harriet, and Sandy

Shari, I'm sorry that I forced you to go to that awful class! But you're sooooo fun, I'm so glad I met you in person! And Harriet, and Belinda, and Sandy too. I've known you all online but it's so much nicer to know you in person too. Yes, this is Belinda from arttechniques!

Patricia, Angie (aka PrincessBurningHair!), and Fran

I took an AWESOME class with Bev Brazelton on Monday that was so good that I didn't even care if I went to another class! We made journals with watercolor backgrounds, added pictures from magazines, drew around the pictures with watercolor crayons and blended them into the page, and finally used various inks to doodle, journal, and decorate. This class was so me. I would have had a fabulous time even if there hadn't been four wonderful people there I already knew besides the ever-marvy Bev.

OK, we were all actually right side up and these photos were rotated correctly, so let's blame bad, bad Blogger for the goofy photos after several tries.

On the left, Bev with moi. On the right, Bev with the dahlink Debbie Bick, proprietor of one of my favorite shops, the Frenzy Stamper in Scottsdale.
