Too Cool Not To Do!

Someone on the TheArtJournal Yahoo group mentioned a hand drawing project and gave the URL for the blog she found it on. When I read about it, I thought it was just way too cool not to try! As you can see from previous posts, I've discovered a liking for doodling. Previously, all of my doodles were squares, rectangles, and the triangles you get when you divide them diagonally. For some reason, I've recently been able to doodle in swirls and curls, circles, and swoops!

Hurray!

I outlined my hands one at a time on a journal page and then doodled inside them, feeling almost driven by some sort of inspiration by each hand. These happened really fast. I think from reaching for a journal to posting here is about half an hour, including doodling and photography.
Go here to see Esti's blog, Pintame el dia (Paint My Day), where her Hand Project can be found. Everything is in Spanish as well as in English for the very good reason that she lives in Spain because she's Spanish. Do you also find it somewhat embarrassing that others can manage to blog in two languages and half the people who blog in English can't even manage to do that correctly? Oops, I digress.
Oh and I accidentally dated them wrong. I know it's the 17th. I just forgot that my computer didn't know I'd been up all night so I thought it was the next day, which it is but I'm math and logic challenged at 7 am whether I've had any sleep or not. (Actually, I'm better if I haven't had the sleep because it just makes me logie for the first few hours. OK, enough of that!)

I love the swirls on your hands. I'm a swirler when I doodle. And triangles.
